Metropolitan Maintenance in St. Petersburg

Sankt-Petersburg metro Nevsky Prospekt-2 Metro Station of Nevsky will be closed for repairs starting from February 1 2012. The approximate period of the repairs will take 11 months. While that the station will function as usual, but only one exit will stay open.
The stations Puskinskaya, Petrogradskaya, and Sennaya Ploshad are under renovations as well. The renovations of Pushkinskaya station are scheduled to begin in spring of 2012. The Petrogradskaya station renovations will start on June 1st. Sennaya Ploshad station has already got renovations started there. The works will include repairing of the tunnel to Spasskaya Station. The entrance to the surface of Spasskaya will be open at 2014. The station Spasskaya was designed in 2009 without an exit.
