Arka is a space, which unites a restaurant, a bar and a place for musical happenings – all under one roof. During the day it’s a perfect place for a lunch, at night it’s the place to try some cocktails and listen to modern music.
It is a place for friendship and communication, for new ideas and creativity. The remaining two of the parts will be carried out quite soon – however, one can already enjoy the weekend parties by the best DJs in Saint Petersburg.
The interior in Arka combines Scandinavian and loft styles. Here you can find both brick walls and walls covered with wooden panels. The restaurant is built on the place of a real arch that leads to the inner yard of a house – and that’s where its unique configuration comes from (the entrance and the bar part of Arka may remind of a bottle neck, and the restaurant part is like the bottle itself).
Arka is a music ground. There is no any particular musiacal direction or style in here. The main criteria are good taste, currency, popularity, sometimes unexpectedness. In other words the music in Arka is meant to bring happiness and surprise, interest to the guests. Music in Arka is not a cause or decoration, it is one of the main heroes of any party.

Meals Recommended
The menu is international - you can find both European courses and those with traditional Russian roots. Chef of the restaurant, created a series of dishes based on truly Russian tastes - beetroot, potatoes, mushrooms, cabbage. Following his creativity, he reconsidered typical Russian salad, borscht, cabbage soup and made a number of contemporary Russian cuisine courses - gastronomic experiments that form the Russian part of restaurant's menu.
Arka also has its own specialty - small skewers - hot snacks, prepared on grill and put on black stone plank-trays. The skewers can be different: with shrimps, vegetables, chicken, veal, salmon or beef.
Sweet corner is a small pastry-shop. Here you can find about a dozen of hand-made sweets, light meringues, macaroons - and that's only half of it. We are crazy about the sweets with sea salt, fruit jellies made of fresh juice and berries and we can barely live without our newtender cheesecake of baked milk.

The cocktails in Arka are based on the principle of gastronomical mixture of the ingredients. While preparing the drinks the barmen use some very unexpected components like mushrooms, beetroot syrup and even borodinsky bread. Mixed with classic cocktail ingredients these unusual ones give a very different taste to some usual drinks. It's always an experiment, a search for impressive and intriguing tastes.
The bar menu is like a guide-book of taste. It's divided to a number of thematic parts: one part is called "Native language" and represents a variationof traditional Russian tastes - birch juice, vodka, bread, raspberry. Another part is called "Botany" - a number of mixes on the base of herbal extracts. "History" part is given to some classical mixes right from the beginning of the XX century. And that's not even half of the Bar menu - all in all there are more than 40 cocktails." style="width:100%" cols="20" rows="7">
The length of bar in Arka is 13 meters. Bar is kind of everything in this restaurant. Here the magicians prepare "Griboedov" - alcoholic cocktail, based on cognac brewed on mushrooms, and "AYVAzovsky" - cocktail with camomile gin, quince jam and elder-berry syrup.
