The location of the ChaCha will impress everyone: the most picturesque part of the Griboedov canal between Kazanskiy Cathedral and Savior on the Blood, next door to all main sightseens. From the windows one could see the canal, river boats and Singer House. Three remarkably comfortable halls one goes by another with the bricks arches are designed especially cozy: colorful plush armchairs, a variety of different-sized lampshades with fringe on the ceiling and the paintings made by georgian masters on the walls. The kitchen is open, so while waiting for the order, one can watch the chefs at work. In the summer near the restaurant, right on the embankment of the canal, there is big open terrace.
Every morning in the restaurant wholesome and substantial breakfasts are served: in the separate breakfast menu there are omelettes, sandwiches, natural milk products, cream of wheat, rice-milk, khachapuri and unbelievably tasty homemade jam from apple quince, fig or walnuts. In the ChaCha on weekdays from 12:30 to 15:30 there are business lunches and discounts.
The main place in the bar menu of course takes chacha: five different sorts from various regions and different manufacturers (also we have the homemade). There is also a wide choice of Georgian wines by low prices and very nice cocktail menu. Among the non-alcohol drinks homemade lemonades with estragon-kiwi, buckthorn, strawberry-basil and etc. with spectacular original presentation are worth trying.
One more pleasant feature of the ChaCha is attentive and friendly service. The waiters are always happy to help the visitors to make their best choice, they tell everything about each dish and about its features in cooking. The staff knows the secrets of real Georgian hospitality.

Visitors speak:
ChaCha is a good Georgian restaurant and it is good enough to remind me of my trip to Georgia last year. The restaurant is very nice inside, and it also has a patio, which is great. They have all the traditional dishes you would expect, and all of them are very good with good portions. The only issue is that they do not have all the wines on the list and I think the price of Saperavi is unreasonable so I chose beer and vodka.
Great location and nice interior, but we were disappointed with the meal. Everything looked and sounded OK, but a very average experience for such prices.
A friend that lives in Saint Petersburg took us there. What a great experience! We all loved the food and wine. A little expensive, but worth it! Recommend!
