Gitano is a restaurant with a discreet interior and a strict Eastern orientation in the heart of Saint Petersburg.

Gitano is located a minute walk from Nevsky Prospekt. The interior of the restaurant will allow you to leave all the worries and noise of the city far away: the atmosphere of the stylish halls with dim lights gives you peace of mind. With the general choice of modern design, the furnishings have oriental elements, for example, handmade carpets covering the floors. The walls are painted pearl gray and blue, and the furnishings are in soft burgundy and cream tones. Two halls of different capacities and division into zones – visual and with the help of living plants – will allow you to find a comfortable place for a romantic date or friendly get-togethers with a large company.

The Gitano’s menu is unusually strict and small: on all two pages there are only Middle Eastern and Asian dishes. The restaurant specialities are tandoori dishes – marinated beef tenderloin with herbs, baked onions and tomatoes, or pike perch fillets in yoghurt sauce, and tajine dishes – lamb with prunes and dates, or chicken with pumpkin and dried apricots.

Gitano is the place for all connoisseurs of Asian cuisine and the spicy flavors of the Middle East.
