Hitch ideally combines the most important male passions: first-class meat and craft beer from Belgium. The new restaurant is different in scope: it’s a two-storey building, with a large brazier weighing one and a half tons (meat is cooked on an open fire), with its own bakery and a hall for parents with children on the second floor.

The interior of the restaurant is emphatically brutal – with leather chairs, a large woodentable on the first floor and a marble one on the second. There will also be two huge screens for sports broadcasts and a children’s room very soon. In addition, the restaurant regularly hosts themed gastronomic dinners and tasting events.

Of course, the headliner of the menu is meat of young bulls from the Bryansk region.  It is presented in all possible varieties: classic tartar, author’s carpaccio, juicy ribeye steak with a thin edge of fat, non-traditional flank steaks, flat iron steaks, skirt steaks and other specials for real men appetites. Among the hits there are HITCHburger with a juicy cutlet, stuffed cabbage rolls with marbl beef and chopped beef steak with poached egg.

Hitch restaurant is one of the few restaurants in Saint Petersburg where you can try dry-aged steaks. The highest quality meat is kept in a special chamber for several weeks at a certain temperature and humidity and as a result gets the most vivid and rich taste. This is a unique gastronomic experience, which is definitely worth getting.

The morning of Hitchnik is a croissant with roast beef and quick pickled cucumbers, beef steak with scrambled eggs or rye toast with avocado and hot smoked salmon.

Baguettes and ciabatta, rye and rye-wheatbread on a thick sour dough are baked in the bakery of the restaurant. The components are only natural such as a little yeast of natural fermentation, seeds and grains. Bread flour (including the shell of grain) is more constitutional than high-grade flour. You can try the bread in the restaurant or as takeaway.

Tartar, lamb rack or chopped steak – to any dish on the menu we will find the perfect wine to go with. In Hitch you can try rare and exclusive wines, for example, from the Sicilian winery called Judeka from the region DoCG Cerasuolo di Vittoria.

Also, Hitch is a restaurant with Belgian beer, which we collected from the best breweries around the world. Here on tap you can find the gentle “Gordon Five” lager, the light abbat ale Affligem with a note of bitterness, Bourgogne de Flandres that was aged in Porto barrels and several varieties of fruit beer. Also in the beer menu you will see about 30 bottled varieties from Belgium, United States and United Kingdom.
