Armenian cuisine is one of the oldest cuisine of Transcaucasia, it offers a wide range of dishes – including an array of tantalizing spices, fresh vegetables and a variety of meat cooked in a tandoor or on the grill. The concept of the Menua is to preserve the Armenian tradition within modern gastronomic trends and combinations.
Most of our products are imported from Armenia. This ensures the real taste and cuisine of mountain sorrel, homemade cheeses such as chechil, lori, meat – basturma and sudjik. Even the grape leaves which are used for preparing the dolma comes from sunny Armenia.
In addition to all the delicacies that offered in the Menua, the guests can enjoy live music performed by a talented singer, or listen to the sound of the duduk instrument that fully epitomises Armenian culture. Traditional Southern hospitality and excellent service will not only leave a lasting impression, but will also make to come back for more…

Visitors speak:
It was our first trip to Russia, and we wanted to try Armenian food, never having had an opportunity to do it before. The starters of assorted cheeses, eggplant and lavash were delicious. The mains of chicken and mutton kebab were also great. The Ararat dessert was fantastic! The service was also good – we don’t speak Russian, so the staff managed to find an English-speaking waitress, and she served us the entire time we were there. Highly recommend this St. Petersburg restaurant!
