The Xander Bar is named after Tsar Alexander I, who reigned at the time of this 19th-century royal palace’s construction. Here the clubby, library atmosphere and double-sided fireplace create a warm welcome. Traditional and modern-style appetizers (“zakuski”) are served along with the city’s best selection of Champagne by the glass, making the Xander Bar a perfect pre-dinner meeting spot or a great place for a digestive afterwards.

It was our go-to spot while in Saint Petersburg, and trust me, it didn’t disappoint! The interior was nice, the atmosphere was perfect, and the cocktails were amazing!
We visited this bar for drinks several times while staying at Four Seasons. The setting and decor are great and also the atmosphere. Good range of draft beer and wine by the glass. Great fingerfood and snacks. Good service and English-speaking stuff.
